Hickman County Public Library

Never in my life have I seen such a rude staff! I went to the library yesterday to print my direct deposit stubs and I could not believe the behavior I witnessed from them. A woman reading a magazine began coughing and the woman behind the counter yells out across the library "Lady, do you need a cough drop?" Her tone was rude and it sounded like she was annoyed that someone was coughing. Then, after trying to print my paperwork and finding out the printer was down, the guy that works there proceeded to click around on my computer to determine the problem. He walked away for a moment so I decided to go ahead and cancel the print from that computer because of the personal information on the document. He told me "If you want it printed you have to quit clicking stuff. But go ahead and keep clicking and you can do without." I was offended by his lack of manners, but kept my mouth shut. Then he said "If you want me to do anything about it, you'll have to get up and give me your chair." I stood up and moved back so that he could use the chair and he turned to the lady at the counter and said "I'm not doing this. She has an attitude so she can just do without." I hadn't even said anything! I ended up using a different computer to print my documents, but I was utterly flabbergasted by the complete lack of respect shown by that staff. I thought they were there to help customers, but I guess not.

The cashiers are rude.I like the east branch better.I would have gave them no stars.WOULD NOT RECOMEND!!!!!
