Stoneleigh Apartments

APT has lots of insects.

The management is corrupt, They cheat you out of every penny they can from way over charging for a apartment to whatever they can find. Other than Rent and Electricity they charged 50$ every month added to rent. Also, after staying for only 6 months ith no damage to apt they cut-off / ate all deposit money $142 out of $150 and returned me only 7$. Once you sign the lease they treat you badly.



This place is worst. AVOID!.







I would not advise anybody to move here.

DO NOT RENT APARTMENT HERE. Here's my reasons:



1) This place is flooded with all kinds of insects/pests. I am a cleanliness freak, my houses have always been spotless, yet there are ants/spiders (including brown recluse) here. I informed the management, and they "claimed to have my apartment treated, but i did not see any results. Management was rude to me all this while about this issue and i was left on my own. Finally, I paid (a good amount of money) do get this done professionally. Guess what! it worked. Could management not have done this?



2) I am a girl and I shed hair. Of course i use hair stopper but yet my tub do get clogged and requires maintenance once a while. For this reason, while moving in, I confirmed what all was covered under "free maintenance". The girl at the office assured me stating" don't worry, i am a girl i understand" and yes this is covered. So i called them the first time, they did clean it. But second time they left a note that it's the hair causing the issue. (Of course I know that :-/)

And kind of hinted they they will not be taking care of this anymore! Huh!! no surprise there. i did not go and talk to them about it, coz I felt humiliated and ignored over the first issue. So now I pay (again an extra amount obviously) to have this taken care of.





Summary: Rent is good, but the extra money you put in, due to poor management, is not worth it! I am waiting for my lease to end, and move out to a different community. Hope this helps!

Seasonal' construction workers (10-20 in one apartment) hanging out on the stairs, the breezeways and in the parking lot. I emailed concerns over my safety (and the safety of my personal property) to NOI Property Management the VP of Operations responded that 'my security is between myself and the local police department'.  That's just no okay!

Not the best location, Stoneleigh Centerton is 3miles down the street from the Benton County Jail and some type of shelter a block in the opposite direction.

Lots of dog doodoo around the property. I did have to clean the carpets before I moved in my furniture. My feet were black after walking around. What I cleaned did have an animal urine odor. 

There are 2 huge trash cans/compactors on the property and they are always overflowing. Try not to rent apartments above (on the west) or in front (east side) of them. It's a mess, stray cats and this creepy eye critter is always by the west side one.

For me, it was h**l on earth!

Don't move here. Many better places to live around the area. Check out the duplexes. Stoneleigh should be a last resort. I've Been having ongoing problems with air conditioning since I moved in last year. Problem has been ongoing and it is currently May. I firmly confronted the staff about getting an immediate fix and was told that if I wish to continue living at Stoneleigh I will watch my attitude with the staff. I never cursed at, yelled at, insulted, or belittled the staff. I was simply firm about my air conditioning getting fixed because it is hot. But if I don't watch my attitude I will be kicked out. AC issue still not resolved.

I signed a 1 yr lease about this time last year along with my Friend. We had separate apartments. In our lease we were evicted because of a mistake Corp made. (It was on the news over 200 people evicted ) This was just the beginning of our lease from HELL. My friend went 4 months without smoke detectors because they didn't have the funding for a single AA battery (really safe especially when you have young children). There was mold growing through the drywall, nobody ever got back to me after several complaints. My garbage disposal continuously not working after several complaints, plus I was verbally abused by a maintenance personnel (it was so loud upstairs neighbors came to check on me). I had a neighbor from hell which complaints were made also and ended up going to court over. I received advertising bills for Stoneleigh in MY NAME, nothing was ever done and I'm stuck with a 391.00 bill for Stoneleigh. Water bills are paid to Stoneleigh and it's based on how many people live in your building (rip-off). It was in my last 30 days when I began to move all my big furniture, I was away at work and my apartment was entered without notice (which states you'll have a 24 hr notice in the lease). They made an assumption that I had moved even though I was still paying rent and forcefully evicted me by changing my locks. When confronted the said I owed them 2500.00 for breaking the lease when they forced me out and kept my belongings. Stoneleigh has switched management companies at least 4 times in one year and bought out twice. Stoneleigh is horrible at costumer service. I wouldn't recommend a homeless person to Stoneleigh if rent was free! DON'T RENT FROM STONELEIGH OR ANY KAPLAN PROPERTIES! SAVE YOURSELF STRESS AND MONEY! Thx
