General Info

Founded in 1953, the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department 1 offers fire assistance and emergency medical services. The department covers more than 25-square-mile area and serves over 10,000 residents. Its apparatus include rescue trucks, ladders, gallon and booster tanks, engines, pumpers, ambulances and various utility vehicles. The Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department 1 also offers thermal imaging cameras, high-pressure systems, portable warning lights, spill control materials, and hand, power and hydraulic rescue tools, as well as a generator, cellular phone and refrigerator. The department has a staff of firefighters and more than six line officers. It provides protection from trenches and hazardous material mishaps. The Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department is located in Center Valley, Pa.
