Ear Tubes - Otitis media means “inflammation of the middle ear,” as a result of a middle ear infection. It can occur in one or both ears. Otitis media is the most frequent diagnosis for children who visit physicians for illness. It is also the most common cause of hearing loss in children. Although otitis media is most common in young children, it occasionally affects adults. Frequent ear infections can be treated by inserting ear tubes.

This evaluation, called a history and physical, is needed within 30 days of surgery. Pre-operative labs, EKG or specialty clearance may be required as part of this process. Carpal Tunnel Release: The carpal tunnel is a narrow area in the wrist where the nerves and tendons that move your fingers pass through. Wrist Arthroscopy: Wrist arthroscopy allows a surgeon to look inside the joint and fix fractures, infections, or inflammation from a disease like rheumatoid arthritis. During the procedure, a small camera on the end of a narrow tube is placed through small incisions in the skin, directly into the back of the wrist joint. Several small cuts are used to allow the surgeon to place the camera in different positions to see the cartilage, bone, ligaments and joint lining.
