General Info

Rock Cabin Camping has 9 cozy stone cabins, sheltered among large oak trees. Built in 1928, these historic cabins have been restored to offer a comfortable place to stay on your visit to the Mammoth Cave area. If you're driving an RV, we can also accommodate you with full hookups in our campground. And finally, if you like to carry your "room" in a duffle bag, we have tent spaces. All our campsites have access to full restroom/bath facilities Our cabins range in size from three rooms, complete with kitchen and room for 6 adults. We have a cabin with a nice kitchenette. And we have several cabins perfect for 2 people (great for honeymooners!). We have one cabin that will sleep four, but we don't have phones in the cabins (you're on vacation to get away from it all, right!?!). All cabins have air conditioning, microwave, refrigerator and DISH Network TV. The Oakes is the closest lodging facility to Mammoth Cave National Park - less than 10 minutes to the visitor center - but is also convenient to all the great activities available in Cave City. We're located 4 miles west of I-65 (Exit 53) on US Highway 70, which puts us just minutes from amusement parks, horseback riding, miniature golf, hiking, museums, and more.
