Birch Glen Lodge & Motel

My two teenaged Grand sons and I just spent 3 nights at the Birch Glen Motel. What a Great place to go to get away from the city and into the mountians. The motel is simple, very clean, and offers simple activities right on the grounds such as horse shoes, bean bag toss and a ball/ / latter toss. The Lodge itself has a pool table, fooz ball, and a very kitchen area. We rented float tubes from the rental place right there and then floated the river from the close by water park. The proprietress of the Motel, Sharon, was very helpful with suggestions for activities and really made us feel welcome . Would suggest the Birch Glen to anyone wanting to get away for a mini vacation or just traveling through.
