If your a healthy young woman just needing birth control this place is perfect for you. If you have any other needs, good luck getting any help from them.

There's one good doctor there who is amazing - Dr. Dacosta. Everyone else is a megalomaniac or too smart with no passion for their job serving the purpose of New York State mandated healthcare for pregnant women. If you have private insurance, do NOT attending this facility - even though I absolutely adored Dr. Dacosta, this place is a malpractice lawsuit in the works.



It is simply a pushy, awful chop shop if you get stuck with the other doctors. They have horrible bedside and a wicked penchant for treating you like bred livestock. The Intake RN tried to tell me to go on a low-fat/no-fat diet while pregnant with twins, and wanted me to go after my fiance for child support because she thought he was a dead beat because we were "Unwed". Turns out she's a PREACHER's wife... And she lectured me on our insurance and how PCAP would cover me and the babies better. She was VERY upset I wouldn't sign up for it. After talking to my insurance (which will/has cover everything) we found out she's looking for numbers for PCAP and that's all...



Dr. Hoffman treated me like I was sixteen, uneducated and as if my pregnancy was unwanted (I'm 26, these are my first children, I have graduate education, and they were very wanted!). I had to find my own babies heartbeats (twins) and measure my own fundal height at home because Hoffman left without warning after blithering on to impress me with his knowledge... of which he actually has very little honest information. He just likes to hear himself talk.



To me, this is a pregnancy drive-thru nightmare and thus I have changed practices.
