Main Street Salon

I just LOVE Allison and Main Street Salon. I get exactly what I ask for every time, and I have been going for many years now.

The service was prompt and courteous. The haircut I got was professionally done and the conversation was great. The atmosphere is good and they actually listen to what you want instead of just making rash decisions at your expense. I would recommend this establishment to a friend.

The haircut was fine, nothing special. But whatever the heck they put in my hair will NOT come out! The day I had my haircut there was so much product in it that it looked greasy. And ever since then (1 month ago), my shampoo won't lather and I can't get the product out of my hair. I've used baking soda and dawn dish soap several times, neither of which are strong enough to clean this stuff out of my hair. I've been washing my hair at least once a day and it dries looking greasy. I used to be able to go 3 days without washing my hair before it would start to get greasy. I called today to ask what they used and how to get it out, they were completely unsympathetic and suggested I use a clarifying shampoo (which I'm going to have to buy myself after paying for what they did to my hair) instead of offering to try to wash it out of my hair free of charge like a respectable business would do. Conclusion, don't go here if you like healthy, clean hair!
