Greener World Recycling

They advertise that they take glass bottles on the website and facebook page. When I arrived there after driving a long distance to recycle my glass bottles and other items, I was told that they don't take glass. They also wouldn't take a couple other things that they clearly said they would take on their website. I thought maybe the employee was misinformed or possibly lying in order to get out of the extra work load. Concerned, I notified them on their facebook about my experience and told them that they should probably either update their website if it was falsely advertised or consult their employee for not doing their job properly.
To my shock, the business owner messaged me this;
" Tanyajo Nolan- Our Facebook page was made awhile ago by the previous Secretary. My employees are NOT lazy and do an AMAZING job! This is proven by the fact you're the ONLY complaint we have had. Get your facts straight!".
Never did I once state that her employees were "lazy" or inadequate. I'm absolutely appalled that a business owner would talk to a customer in this way. Especially when I was bringing a very important and relevant issue to their attention. I apologized to the employees if I insulted them based on the owner's mistake.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with such a disrespectful and rude business. There are plenty of other recycle businesses in Carson City that are far more pleasant and where you can recycle more than what they do.

hours listed above are wrong. correct hours are 9-4 Monday through Saturday.
