Diane Sternlieb is one tough lady! I have hired her twice now for two custody disputes and yesterday she was able to accomplish more than I even thought possible at this stage. She's a hard working woman and she's been there done that. She has real life experiences that allows her to understand where her clients come from. She will expect you to put in some work to prove yourself and that was completely alright with me. She's a great attorney to have in your corner during some of the most important/scary times of your life. I will definitely be retaining her again for the next stages of my case.

I don’t know where my daughter and I would be had I not hired the Law Office of Diane Sternlieb to represent me in my divorce. My Husband had been my partner and protector for over 16 years, I thought he was the perfect husband. Then, one day I came home from work and he started falsely accusing me of some really bizarre things. Because of his paranoia and delusional thoughts, he destroyed our marriage. He was verbally, emotionally and mentally abusive at that point. This was his third marriage. He tried to bully me into signing his lawyers divorce papers so that he would not have to pay child support. This was my first marriage and I didn’t have a clue what I should do. The lady helping my husband with the divorce said she could not give me any legal advice since she was working for him but there were several lawyers close by that could help me and that I should have my own attorney look over the paperwork if I had questions. That turned out to be the best advice she could have given me. That’s when I found the law office of Diane Sternlieb.



Diane Sternlieb and her assistant Jesse helped me through every step. They explained that child support was not my money or my husband’s money. It was my child’s money that was needed to take care of her and I did not have the right to short change her just because he was trying to say he could not afford to pay. Turns out, he could afford to pay child support for our child.

In February 2014 my EX and I filed for a divorce, He decided he wanted to fight me for full custody so that meant finding lawyers. I started with Daniel M Barns the case went on for over a year he took my money and did absolutely nothing to help me and my case move a long. Then with no warring at all he just dropped my case in march of 2015 because of to much interference from family members as he put it . Quitting was the best thing he did for my case because then I found Diane that was the best thing for my case .. I went in and met with Diane she was really concerned with the amount of time this had been going on with so little that had been done.. She was very straight forward got right to the point and told me exactly what needed to be done in order to win custody of my three kids.. Diane was very caring and understanding she is very trustworthy and very knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with our consultation so I retained her on March 23rd 2015 our court date was already set for June the 8th 2015, she had just six weeks to get my case ready for court and she did just that ... On June 8th we went into court Diane was fully prepared she fought hard and she won my case so now thanks to her I have custody of my children .. There are not enough words and kudos for this attorney! I was in a terrible two year divorce from 2006 until 2008. The harassment did not stop at the conclusion of the divorce as my ex-husband made it his mission to start building a frivolous child custody case that also included many items from the divorce where he basically wanted a, “do over.” He filed his case July 1, 2009 and I obtained an attorney. I informed the attorney up front that I could not physically, mentally nor financially afford another 2 year court battle. (Being that I have a fairly good understanding of the law and process, I prepare a lot of the work myself and it is very organized.) However, as of September, 2011 the case was still not settled and the attorney had not even filed my answer to his motion. I was given Dee’s contact information, told she is feisty and takes nothing from male attorneys that think they are going to intimidate her. I retained Dee on September 15, 2011. She was furious at how things had progressed. She immediately filed a motion to dismiss and brief in support, had the case in court on December 12, 2011 and mopped the floor!!! This was a difficult case because my ex is extremely difficult and unreasonable to deal with. Dee had no problem picking up a case that was a mess a quickly turning it around. She has continued to stay in contact and recently represented me on contempt issues from the December 12, 2011 case. My ex is currently incarcerated as a result of the latest case. I always recommend Dee to anyone needing legal counsel. She will treat you fair and fight hard to win your case.

Diane Sternlieb is an awesome attorney and a wonderful human being. Diane was able to accomplish something I thought to be impossible. She was able to help me get full custody of my children. I have known Diane for almost a year. I am the wife of one of her clients. My husband and I have dealt with the legal field for a few years and had our fair share of attorneys. Last summer we sat down with our last attorney getting some recommendations on who to go to next. So we decided to go with someone local, called her office to set up a consultation, and came in for her first available. Right off the bat, I was blown away with how her assistants handled us. I didn't feel like I 'inconvenienced' them, which other attorneys and their assistants have made me feel. We came in, retained her on the spot, and immediately knew she was not only a blessing but going to be very special in our life. Over the course of his case, I've gotten to know Diane more, and realized she is as honest as I could ever imagine. She takes our case (as I assume she does EVERY other case) very personal. I was actually with another attorney and very unhappy. I actually first saw Diane in court against my old attorney and saw how hard she fought and how much she truly cared about her client. Diane Sternlieb is the best attorney out here by far! I found myself divorced and the mother of four. As if this wasn't hard enough we began to have custody issues. I was still paying for an overpriced divorce attorney at this time. I began the tedious process of consulting attorney's for the impending case. I was stressed and already in debt when I had the great fortune of meeting Diane. She has been my absolute rock throughout this ordeal! Diane is hardworking, brutally honest and determined. I strongly recommend Mrs. Sternlieb. She helped me tremendously recently with a custody battle and she is my hero. We were up against a monster and she has forever blessed me and my son.
