Pilates
An exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and improve overall health. Learn effective exercises that target every part of the body. Focus on the core postural muscles that help to keep the body balanced and aligned. Emphasis is placed on proper breathing techniques and safety.
Simply Well HIking Club - White Rocks Trail
Join us for monthly Simply Well hiking Club. Registration is required. Hiking will vary from moderate to challenging, and most will be appropriate for both children and adults. Experience how fun hiking can be when paired with laughter, a little natural history along the way, and a support system of adventurous friends! Each hike will meet at the trail head. Be prepared by bringing water, a snack, and appropriate shoes, and anything else you may need. The meeting location is 1367-1387 Kuhn Rd., Boiling Springs. The parking is along the road
Moderate Yoga
Through a series of asanas that stretch, strengthen and relax the body and mind, participants build core strength and develop flexibility. With a compassionate focus on proper alignment and the integration of breath with movement, participants find ease and well-being within the postures, leading to a renewed connection with self. Previous yoga knowledge is encouraged but not necessary.
Kids Yoga
A fun, creative, and engaging approach to yoga for kids. Animated poses, cooperative games, breathing, and relaxing visualizations create experiences that build focus and self-control. Parents are not required to attend the class with their child. If you would like to attend with your child, please discuss this with the instructor

Get ready to improve, enhance and transform your yoga practice. Whether you are a brand new student or an advanced practitioner, there is always more to learn. Our posture clinics focus on a different pose or series of movements each month. Iyengar Yoga
Iyengar Yoga has been developed from the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar and his family. The Introduction to Iyengar Yoga class will acquaint students new to the Iyengar method with the fundamentals of asana (yoga postures). Iyengar Yoga, known for its emphasis on proper alignment, relies on the use of props – such as blocks, blankets, belts, bolsters and chairs and detailed instructions to allow for longer holds in the asana which serve to awaken the body's intelligence. It is accessible for students of all ages and physical conditions. This class is appropriate for new students as well as those who have yoga experience, but are new to the Iyengar method
A Day in the Life of an Essential Oils User
"We become what we repeatedly do." - Sean Covey Are you completely new to essential oils and have no idea how you would use them if you had them? Do you already have some essential oils, but find that their favorite spot is hiding away on a shelf? In this class you will hear the daily routine of someone who went from dabbling in essential oils to making them an integral part of each and every day. You will learn how you can get the most out of essential oils, and what they can add to your life. Bring your questions and stories - we will have an open share session to address any questions you have or share your own exciting essential oils experiences
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a practice of longer-held "stretchy" postures to get into the body's connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, and fascia). Sustaining postures for 3-5 minutes allows one's body weight and gravity to deepen into the pose. Through Yin, one develops "core flexibility" (as opposed to "core strength") while simultaneously opening energetic pathways. Great for beginners to advanced students.
Gentle Yoga
For students who want a deeply relaxing and less physically challenging class. This compassionate approach emphasizes slower meditative simple movements. Plan to release tension, increase flexibility and breathe deeply. Accommodations will be made for people with limitations.
Vigorous Yoga
This class moves through a challenging sequence designed to tap into your internal fire through strength building and connecting vinyasas. Expect to hold postures and sweat! Each class features a theme (an energetic quality, an inspirational idea, or a peak posture) and motivating playlist. As always, the class will be rooted in creating a steady breath to guide your practice. If you are looking to detoxify through the skin and deepen your practice this class is for you. This class is open to all bodies and modifications will be provided, though prior yoga or fitness experience is preferred. Please bring a towel and water
Chair Yoga - Easy
Perfect for beginners and also for those who may be unable to take part in even a gentle class due to mobility limitations. Diana uses teachings from Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga to adapt traditional yoga poses to a chair with emphasis on proper breathing and alignment. Build musculoskeletal fitness and flexibility with use of weights and gentle therapeutic movements.
Amrit Yoga - Moderate
Paul leads the Amrit Level I sequence from the Integrated Amrit Method. This 26 posture sequence is a distillation of teachings from 50 years in the West, and is designed to break the reactive patterns of stress and negative thoughts. Unique to Amrit Yoga the Level I sequence is a great way to destress from your day and drop into the Posture of Consciousness. Paul refers to it as Yoga's Greatest Hits, with a mixture of standing postures, balancing postures and floor poses with plenty of time and space in between. A pace slow enough for beginners new to Yoga to follow, with subtle alignment cues to keep even the most veteran practitioner challenged.
Prenatal Yoga
Join us for this safe yoga class for expectant mothers during all stages of pregnancy. Learn relaxation, specific yoga poses for strength and flexibility, breathing exercises and meditation techniques that are designed to help through pregnancy, labor and delivery. Whether new to yoga or experienced, come nourish yourself and your baby. Benefits of Prenatal Yoga: Strengthens muscles for birth, improves energy level, increases flexibility, enhances sleep, reduces swelling, eases lower back pain and pregnancy discomfort, reduces stress, anxiety and tension. All classes are led by experienced Pranakriya Prenatal Yoga Instructor and owner of Yoga at Simply Well, Michele Landis. Restorative Yoga
This deeply nourishing class incorporates gentle yoga poses and yoga props as a way to encourage deep relaxation and healing. The majority of the practice is spent allowing the mind to unwind and the body to sink deeper into stillness through the guided process of releasing and letting go. A special invitation is extended to all yoga practitioners yearning to deepen their practice, as well as anyone who may suffer from stress, anxiety, or chronic aches and pains.
