My name is Carolyn and I am quite a handful! :-)



I hired Sakinah back in April 2010, and since day one she has been on my side. My fiancee works full-time and so do I, so we don't have the time or energy required to stage a beautiful, memorable wedding for 250 guests; therefore I hired Sakinah.



I contacted her through a previous customer, who raves about the bachelorette party & wedding that Sakinah planned for her. She was a co-worker. When meeting "Kinah" for the first time, it was like love at first sight (if it's ok to fall in love with your wedding planner). She was easy-going, but spirited at the same time. She told me about traditions, and then showed me that I don't have to follow traditions, because it is my day.



Although I am currently still working with Sakinah, I had to write a review for the business. It should say something to you when you're still working with a company and completely satisfied before seeing the finished product!

I hired Sakinah of SakiMone Events 3 days after I was engaged. From the initial (free might I add) consultation, I was hooked! This woman had a dynamic personality and made me feel like we were long lost friends!



She assisted with absolutely EVERYTHING! Her service is quite valuable to the bride/groom who work full-time and simply don't have the time to plan an elegant wedding. She worked with our budget, was there at all times of the night when we had questions, and even assisted me to make a final decision on my dress! (Which really isn't part of her job)



Throughout my entire time working with her, I never heard "I can't do that", "You don't have the budget for that", or anything to the effect that she was unable to complete a task. Sakinah was always willing and able!



Fast forwarding to my wedding day, the 6 months had gone by so fast. Sakinah was at my ceremony location in tennis shoes and a t-shirt hanging flower arrangements, directing event staff, and making my day unforgettable. I am now on my honeymoon, and I can't thank her enough.
