There are several major problems with this place... I've been there many times and I can tell you that everything I list below is a constant problem that didn't just happen once. I drive out to the lab in Rio Grande now... it's worth the extra distance.



The biggest problem in my mind is that they seem to have no management and it doesn't seem clean or sanitary for that matter.



The nurse who looks like Magda really needs to wear gloves on both hands when she's taking blood. I've never been anywhere that gloves aren't absolutely required when there is a needle involved... or any sort of medical attention for that matter. I don't know where your hands have been... I want fresh gloves on both of them and I don't want you to touch my skin with your bare hands.



Every seat will be filled in the waiting room and the nurses will be out smoking cigarettes (which smell into the waiting room). One of the girls behind the desk is usually having a full fledged hot meal... also smells into the waiting room.



They frequently bypass the private patent windows and call you to come back to the other waiting area where they will ask you all of your personal information, loudly, with no discretion. Why they can't use the private windows is beyond me.



The bottom line is that they have absolutely no attention to patient care and they seem to have no one to answer to. They are running their own show in there and I think they are a sanitary accident waiting to happen.
