Modern Auto Air & Transmission Repair

I prefer to do biz with people that do what they say they are going to do, or at least try. I will not recommend this shop to anyone.

The great customer service and care I was given recently on some repairs made me realize how few business today treat their customers the way they do. Modern Auto Air has been a family owned and operated business for over 20 years and I know because I’ve taken my vehicles there for that long. I started bringing my car for AC work to Mike’s dad and now I have Mike take care of all my vehicle repairs. Businesses don’t stay around that long unless they are trusted and go above and beyond for their customers. That has always been my experience and I’m grateful for it. Thank you for making me feel like family.

I recommend Mike to everyone! Thank you again for saving me. The electrical problem I was having in my truck was driving me crazy and getting worse. Mike and the guys found it quick and thankfully it was something minor and inexpensive. I first took one of my vehicles to Modern Auto Air and Transmission based on a recommendation when my transmission tore up 5 or 6 years ago. I was pretty worried about getting taken to the cleaners because I‘ve had bad experiences in the past with local shops on transmission work. I was blown away with the how totally opposite of my fears the experience ended up being. I’ve been going back ever since. I don’t trust anyone else with my cars. Keep up the great work!

Mike and the Modern Auto Air And Transmission Repairs team worked tirelessly to resolve several issues with my car. They serviced the transmission, which it was in dire need of work. Transmissions, of course, are their specialty, but they also dealt with a rather elusive engine miss. Other items that definitely needed attention were discussed and decisions mutually made on what was best and most cost effective for our needs. Such as the passenger window, which I accidentally rolled up on my husband’s arm, when he was resting it on the ledge, which resulted in a rather ugly, screeching noise when it was going up or down! This really did need to be fixed! It is so much nicer without the noise, now! Mike also did many extras, too numerous to list, at low cost out of the goodness of his heart. This car is extremely complex to work on, which made it doubly challenging, but Mike and his crew never gave up my car. Everything is terribly difficult to access and there was, unfortunately, some poor design in some areas, which is never helpful when working on this vehicle. Additionally, Mike is the kindest, most professional individual anyone could hope for. On top of that, he is of the hardest working professionals ever. The car was returned to us in tiptop condition. The Cape Coral Modern Auto Air & Transmission team really cares about the quality of their work and are very thorough and upfront. Mike claimed to have fixed the problem that I brought in for originally and scammed me out of an embarrassing amount of money - I returned the car four times and two of those four times the car was given back to me in WORSE condition than when I brought it in.



He never fixed the problem, he has my money, my car still doesn't work. The experience here has been absolutely horrific.



Caveat Emptor

Mike at Modern Auto Air asked me to do a review. I bought a 2001 Ford F150 4X4 transmission from Modern Auto Air 4 years ago with the 3 year Warranty they Power flush it each year for me. Run's good and I expect to keep my truck for a long time so will find out how long transmission will last. So far so good. Would recommend Modern Auto Air to anybody.

After wasting time and money at other AC shops in Cape Coral, I finally rememberd the good service I had received many years ago at Modern with another Chrysler AC problem. I called Michael and we had the car in, repaired, and out the door within a half an hour, beyond our satisfaction. As an owner of a Hotel in Cape Coral, I know how important "Customer Care" and satisfaction is. It truly shows at Modern!!
