This Costco has been around for a long time in the Santa Clarita Valley and it is one of the few stores that has the worst checkout service of all stores I have been too. Most other Costco stores will get boxes and show some care for your groceries but they dont seen to care how they stack your food or even help you out with boxes to protect your purchase.



Furthermore this Costco has the absolute worst parking lot of all of them!!! They share a lot with a 24 Hour Fitness next door and every time we try and shop there it is a long drawn out battle to find parking. My husband and I have just given up and driven back home on several occasions because the parking lot is a nightmare.



The Santa Clarita Valley has grown so much since this Costco was built and yet they refuse to add another Costco. This one just gets way too crowded!

Excellent Service & return policy

I've shopped at this Costco for over 14 years and have never had a problem with their service or doing returns. Mind you there will be a wait after Christmas when everyone and their grandma are making returns/exchanges. Nevertheless, having to wait during those times should not constitute a rating of one ⭐️

This Costco will not return anything without makng you stand there for an hour.

Their manager, Cheryl, is rude.

Your supervisor Cheryl at Costco in Santa Clarita was very rude to me today.



I had the "Executive Membership" and my rebate check was sent to my old address. I went to Costco to have them re-issue the check to my new address. Cheryl raised her voice to me and told me "You need to have 3 forms of business ID to change your address." I told her I knew she was lying because I didn't have any ID when I opened the account, and that I had closed that business within the last year to take a job at a larger firm. She said that she couldn't do anything without three forms of business ID. I told her to give me the $70, that she could see the refund amount on her screen and that she doesn't realistically need to make me drive there 2 more times to get my 2% back, or that she could change the address to my new address and re-issue the check. She refused, and said she needs to fill out a form to send the check again, then she picked a sheet of scrap paper out of a printer, and wrote my address on it. It was not a form, and she put it on top of a pile of pamphlets, then looked at me crossways.



I told her I wanted to cancel my membership because she always gives me hell when I try to return things there and to refund me for the $110 membership. She told me "I can't refund your membership because it is almost the end of the year for you, and you have already spent $5000 at Costco this year, so SOMEBODY was satisfied with us," then said "I can cancel your account and not give your money back, but you have had the account for so long..."



I asked to speak to her supervisor. She told me "I am the supervisor, all other managers are in a meeting." I told her to give me the number for corporate, she handed me "Member Benefits & Costco Services." I asked where the nuber for corporate is in that book, she told me "she is not going to argue with me." Then she took the next person in line, and stared at her computer for 5 minutes while she pretended to return their salad without looking at or talking to anyone. (There was a line out the door for Customer Service at that time.)



I went to the checker lines and found another manager, who said she doesn't know how to change an address and walked towards the Customer Service counter to talk to Cheryl. I stood there for the remainder of an hour with my kid making a mess before Cheryl canceled my account and issued the refund for $110.
