The Goddard School of Canton

We enrolled our son approximately two and a half years old. We were very concerned with daycares in general. Out of all the schools we interviewed The Goddard School gave us the best feeling about the establishment when we left. Outside of the cleaniness and the layout of our son's classroom being great, we loved that we could make your own meals for lunches and they even heat them up for us. We look forward to it every day. We could not handle our son having to eat whatever was provided or go hungry for the day. Classroom teacher went out of her way in the mornings to help comfort our son during the transition into daycare of which he was not accustomed to. To be quite honest there was a little transitioning for us as well. He loved the daily reports. We loved it he all the sudden started doing sign language hot in the classroom. We are happy we made Goddard School our choice!

I enrolled my child here because I thought it was one of the best preschools, that was not the case for my experience. For beginners, the entry door code system was broken, never repaired. The owner/director had to buzz every single parent in all day long!. My child hated to go to this school EVERY SINGLE DAY! I couldnt quite figure it out, until we realized it was the teacher. She was cold, not loving, unaffectionate, and in a bad mood most of the time. Not a person you want to receive your child every morning. I noticed after a while,she "checked out". My child was not progressing in class and most of the time she would not acknowledge me, the parent when I was in the class to pick my child. It was disturbing! I was stressed out for the most part knowing my child was in the care of such a person I thought shouldnt be working with small children. Needless to say, the owner and director will support their staff before they do the parent. I couldnt wait to take my child out of this school. HE NOW LOVES HIS NEW SCHOOL AND TEACHER, I AM SO HAPPY. As a very picky mom, and wants only the best for her child, I couldnt wholeheartedly recommend this school to another parent.
