Ichiban Steakhouse

Recently I ordered sushi from this restaurant over the phone and they told me it would be available in 15 minutes. I went there 20 minutes later and they said it would be another 15 minutes.

I finally got my sushi but found one was missing after I got home. I called them right away but it seemed that they "could not" hear me. I tried calling again several times, using two different phones, but they still "could not" hear me. Obviously they knew my phone number and did not want to talk to me over the phone. Then I had to go there and pick it up myself - another 30 minutes round trip.

I have never seen a restaurant doing business like that. They avoided talking to me because they knew I could ask for a refund or ask them to send it to my house. But pretending not being able to hear me over the phone was really ugly - so dishonest!

When I was picking up the missing sushi, the manager did not even apologize - shame on you! I will never go back to this restaurant again.

The chefs are the best in the steakhouse business. The price and food portion are great with service that constantly checks on your needs. And if that were not enough, the manager came by to see if we were pleased with our dinner on a very busy holiday,.

Went to Ichiban the atmosphere and service was great. The food was terrible. Had supposedly yellow fin tuna. It tasted like tuna from the can. Had the nabiyaki udon. It was tasteless. I put as much soy sauce as I can but it didn't help. I just had to leave the rest. The prices are outrageous. Tasteless soup and 1 yellow fin roll cost $22.00. Go some place else. Don't waste your time and money. Chinese can't cook japanese food.
