250 Quality Cleaners

I don't write reviews ever, but this certainly warranted it

I went to these cleaners because of the cheap advertised price. At first things seemed OK, they let me prepay, gave me a receipt, blah blah blah. Receiving the first load of clothes the 'quality' of cleaning wasn't too great but at least nothing was seriously wrong and it was cheap.

My second load of laundry is where the problems started. I gave three silk pieces along with other clothes which were examined and checked by both me and the employee at the time. There was nothing wrong. I prepaid again. When I came back, I received my order, and the employee said nothing about it. Only as I put my clothes in the car I saw that they had been ripped (had stuffed them between the other clothes even so you wouldn't notice until close examination). In fact, it didn't even look like the finished cleaning them (the lady at the counter said NOTHING about not cleaning these pieces and even though I had prepaid, had not given me a refund on those items).

I went back in the store and asked about it. The lady called the 'manager' (who I later found out was the owner's son). As soon as this guy came out he had an extremely rude and hostile attitude and blamed me for the damage saying they didn't touch the clothes (Why accept the clothes in the first place if they were ripped? Why not let me know by phone that it was ripped before I came in to pick it up? Why not say something or even leave a note attached on the clothes? If they really hadn't touch the clothes, why go ahead and keep my money as well?)

I wasn't going to let this go and so he quickly resorted to shouting, swearing, and threatening to call the cops if I didn't get out of the store. I myself called the cops on him. Eventually however, all the police officer could do was get his information and advise me to take him to court (he did get the $5 dollars charge back because it was obvious that the guy was trying to fleece me even further).

I searched this cleaner up and am not surprised to see THE EXACT SAME THING happening to the two previous customers...

We will never ever do business with this cleaner or the other company branches (Gill Cleaners). I suggest others beware as well. This obviously isn't an isolated incident because of the previous experiences.

Rude, Dishonest, Unqualified!! They ripped my husbands Ralph Lauren shirt and tried to blame him for the rip. The Indian woman at the counter tried to charge me for the cleaning when it was already paid for. They were very rude and the owner ordered my husband out of the store when he took the shirt back. This Cleaners should not be
operating in a city as nice as Canton, MI. Don't ever use this Cleaners!!!!

At first I was in LOVE with this cleaner. Great prices, a friendly smile from the woman who works the counter and best of all there was little to no waiting. I thought that this might be the dry cleaner that I could use for decades. Unfortunately after using them four times my wife and I noticed separately that our sweaters were fitting a little more snug. Initially I waived it off as a few extra winter pounds, but considering my wife had actually lost weight we knew that something was amiss. After holding the sweater up to the exact same sweater in a different color that had NOT been cleaned by them, our fear was confirmed..."2.50 Quality" cleaners had shrunk four of our sweaters. This was particularly concerning to me since my wife likes expensive sweaters.

Unfortunately that WASN'T even the worst part. The worst part was when we brought it to their attention they very quickly all but accused us of being scam artists trying to get something out of them. We laugh at it now because we hadn't even asked for anything and were really just looking for an acknowledgement of their error and maybe $50 of free cleaning. Unfortunately the immaturity and poor treatment of the young man who claimed to be the owner has resulted in us deciding NEVER to use their "quality" service again.

If you are looking for a local dry cleaner I HIGHLY suggest you do NOT use their service as they aren't good cleaners and when it comes to treating their customers well they are really nasty people.

Customer service is dismal. They act like they're doing you a favor. I would have gone anywhere else, but they were close. They lost a very expensive pair of pants and refuse to compensate me for them.

I would never recommend this place. The employees are very rude and unprofessional. Especially, the crazy blonde manager. She's crazy and stupid. Apparenlty, the owner doesn't care about his business because he hired someone stupid to manage it. I went there on a Friday at 7:00pm and the stupid manager refused to take my cloths said she was ready to go home. I said to her your sign says you guys are open until 7:30pm. Her relpy was I should have came earlier. I told her I was just getting off from work and she said to me too bad. Hell no!!! I am never going back there and would never recommend the place to anyone. Don't go they are stupid and will lose your clothes.

They keep losing my clothes! They don't even give you any kind of reimbursement and they don't acknowledge that they lose tons of clothes

Ruined my $79.00 irreplacable skirt and didnt even apologize!!! I had it drycleaned several times elsewhere and it has a label that says dry-clean only but they managed to ruin it!!!! I am calling the better business bureau on this place!!!!!!!!!

Terrible job and customer service. Spoiled my dress and manager shows attitude. No courtsey to even apologize.

Bad and unprofessional service. I received ripped items twice, silk blouse and draperies. Manager and owner of the business has no sense for the customer service, took no responsibility and tried to blame that the shirt was brought ripped and that draperies were old (of course did not bother to call, but took money with no problem) almost yelled when I attempt to reason with her. If you don’t want to get ripped clothes back don’t take it to this cleaner.

Ripped several of my shirts. Horrible customer service as if I did it. Waited days because manager needs to look at it. The first time they ripped my shirt I gave them a pass this time I will not. I will not ever go to this cleaners again. You've been warned.
