I am always greeted by the staff at Bent's Foods with a smile and a warm hello. The staff is knowledgable about their products and there is always someone there to assist you when you need help!



I grew up with parents who owned and operated a high-end meat shop, so I know quality meat when I see and taste it. I have resided in the United States now for over 11 years. I tried many of the large local grocery stores, private meat shops, etc. in and around the Quincy area hoping to find the quality that I was used to.



No matter where I have shopped for groceries throughout the years, there is only ONE store that has my meat business and that is family owned and operated BENTS FOODS in Camp Point.



Bents Foods is not a very large grocery store but it sure does have all the necessities that a family needs for weekly groceries. The size of Bents Foods is not surprising considering Camp Point is a fairly small community which does not have any traffic lights and I believe it is only 9 city blocks long on Hwy 24! They do have a great variety of dried, canned, frozen foods and fresh foods... especially their fresh meats, as mentioned earlier!



Bents Foods has a good sized deli with an assortment of cold cuts, fresh made salads and fresh bakery items daily. There are hardware items available, and also they have a $1 isle which is great! You never know what you will see there each week, so don't miss it!



If you are looking for specialty items, such as Lactose Free Milk, you probably won't find them here. I do believe I did see some soy milk though! They just don't have the floor space to allow for slower selling items.
