Camillus Nails & Spa

LULU gave me a manicure today. She talked to a co-worker in what sounded like Chinese, while she worked on my nails. She was looking away from my nails as she pushed back the cuticles and filed them (Ouch!). The shape of some nails was crooked. My friend who was with me got a hot towel massage, as usual. I did not get a massage. I gave a tip up front before the polish was on my nails, so I wouldn't have to reach into my wallet with a fresh manicure (tips are "cash only"). Maybe LULU thought she didn't need to worry about providing good service since she had already received her (undeserved) tip. It's a good salon. I've been there before, and would go again. Just don't let LULU near your nails if she's in a chatty mood.

Buyer Beware!!!!!! My daughters were totally ripped off by this place, my daughter asked the price was told it and she repeated it back and the man responded yes. She had taken her sister there for her 16th birthday, thinking she was spending $34 on their "special" instead it was $140. Obviously these were two young girls that were easy marks. Called the owner to complain and was told it has happened before that is why they have price books, well if someone asks a price they are not going to look it up in the book, and the white board in the front had the special on it but no price listed. Whole thing is pretty fishy, great way to rip people off by blaming it on the language barrier. The owner said he would call me back which of course never happened. Thanks for spoiling what should have been an enjoyable day!
