Overall
I've been going here regularly...

I've been going here regularly for two years. They have taken superb care of me and I never go anywhere else. If you're in Camarillo and your car needs servicing, this is the place.

Overall
Great service with a great conversation

After returning to Camarillo from a move up north I went to what I thought was where Jiffy Lube used to be. After being offered a free coffee, I had a wonderful conversation with Stacy (the owner) and she explained to me the extra things I needed for my car. They showed me the difference between a new air filter and what mine looked like. Yuck, I chose to get that. I opted out of getting new wiper blades at this time but will get them next oil change when I go back to the lube shop. I really felt like a family member while my car was worked on (which was quite fast)

Overall
A dying breed

This is not your typical oil change place. While that is what they primarily do, they go through a thorough check of the car, all the fluids, check the suspension components, the battery, the lights, the belts the hoses, and everything else that can be inspected. And they vacuum the inside and wash the windows. I never feel that are trying to push a service I don't need. In fact, on many occasions, when my dealer was telling me I was in dire need to get something fixed, and I have taken it to the Lube shop to have it done, I was informed that I still had plenty of life left on that particular component.

While waiting to get my car serviced, I got to meet other customers that own some pretty expensive classic muscle cars. (Olds 442, Impala, Corvette, Jag XKE, etc) If they trust the Lube Shop to service their fancy machinery, I can trust them to take good care of my daily driver.

lube changes

Every time I take my car to The Lube Shop, they take excellent car of my car. They vacuum the inside of my car, and check all the fluids, and clean my windshield. Everything is explained to me, and their prices are fair. Now all my family and friends go to The Lube Shop.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR TOYOTA PRIUS TO THEM

I TOOK MY PRIUS TO THEM THEY FILLED IT UP WITH TO MUCH OIL AND COST ME $800.00.

WHEN I ASKED FOR MY DAMAGES THAT WAS 100% DONE BY THEM ,THEY REFUESED IT.

VERY POOR SERVICE.I WILL REPORT THEM TO BBB SO NO ONE WILL END UP LIKE I DID.

THEY SHOULD GET ZERO STAR.

Shortly after her oil change her car stopped running and she got out and checked the oil level and found it was fine so she had it towed to the dealership. They read the service engine light and found service engine codes related to her smart key and a B1200 code about the wiring harness, and a code about the cars computer system malfunctioning. There were no oil level problem codes. The shut off problems are documented problems with prius' that are unrelated to the oil leveland the internet has several people who had similar problems, no one resolved their problem by changing the oil level. Due to the codes on her computer and the rat feces on her motor they wanted to look for a wire that was possibly chewed by a rat. She authorized them to do that. They spent 8 billed hours to find the problem. When they finished they said the oil level was too full. Wouldn't you check that 1st if the customer said they just had their oil changed and according to them these cars shut off if overfull? I have video of my experienced technician working on the car. He rechecks the oil level more than once while he is waiting for other employees to finish vacuuming her car. She got taken by the dealership, billed for 8 hours for a documented problem that Prius has with cars shutting off due to the computer, and sold a load of bull. We would have come out to her car to help her had she called us because that's who we are. We have been here 4 years and she is the only complaint, come judge for yourself.
