Lucky Pawn

The person working was so rude to me it was sad to see a shop run in this manner. First to not welcome you in but then proceed to dismiss my 3000 guitar as not worth even close to the 1000 I w as looking for. Showed me away like a fly and dint say good buy or thanks for coming in. It obvious that they only look for people that are so desperate they can take advantage of them and basically steal from them. If your in this area I highly recommend all right pawn in simi valley. Or reliable pawn in simi valley. They are friendly and courteous and will at least try and work something out. Lucky Pawn is a loan shark and the name lucky pawn is ironic because the ok only one who will be getting lucky is themselves , in the form of someone in need to kick them when they are down. Not a customer stopping by and getting lucky to visit a friendly professional establishment, let alone getting a fair price for buying selling or pawn. They are lucky to be in business.

I have dealt with Lucky Pawn for many years and I have to say that every experience has been very unpleasant. The way that they deal with their customers or potential customers is very unprofessional. They make you feel very uncomfortable in a situation that is already unpleasant. People usually go to Pawn Shops in desperate situations, as a last resort and you would think that they would be more understanding and compassionate regardless if they are able to help you or not. Especially when they are possibly (in my case) always getting a GREAT deal with the things that I have taken in there. I only continued to deal with Lucky Pawn because I couldn't get to Oxnard but I will never be returning to Lucky Pawn again. I would rather go to any other Pawn shop even if I have to pay to go to Oxnard. And FYI the several electronics that they told me would never sell and that were dead items, I posted on EBay and got double what I would have got from Lucky Pawn. So in that regards, thank you for turning me down because it benefited me in the end and I hope that you never get in a situation where you have to resort to selling your personal items to make sure that your children eat. Maybe you shouldn't prejudge those coming into your business because you don't know their story. Not all of us are dead beats who don't work. Some of us have more pride then to ask to borrow money from family and friends and would rather sell their possessions to make ends meet at this hard time. Thank you for the previous business but never again will I ever step foot in your shop.
