Triple J Department Store

Bought a truck from these very unhonest people told me they didn't have the title with them they would bring it the next day so i could pick it up on 10/22 they still haven't provided me with a title they bought it from Quality Tools in calera and the lady Carla so lost the title and now Carla was supposedly sent off for the title over a month ago and to today still has not gave me the title the people who own that place seem to have some other bad people in their life to be carful who u deal with in calera alabama lot of low life's out there

Triple J failed to deliver a stove purchased 9/13/2013 and promised on 9/14. They never called to say there as a problem. They just didn't show up. I spoke with them twice that day. During my first call they said it was slightly behind schedule (2 hours late). On my second call they said it would be that evening. The following morning they said it would be that day. Two days later they said it was out for repair. Calls placed 9/14, 9/16, 9/19, 9/25, 10/01, 10/02, 10/15 were not returned. I requested a refund of the $150 three times and was told it would be sent when she spoke with her husband. He "was not in on any of those dates" and my calls were never returned. Buyer beware. They will take your money and not deliver the goods. It is 10/22 and I am still waiting for my refund.

I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone. The people who work there are rude for one thing. Also I was going to buy a wii from there for my children and they wouldn't even let me plug it up to see if it worked. My husband was also wanting to try to crank a weedeater before he bought it and you guessed it, they said no. They want you to buy crap that doesn't work. So I will never shop there again and hopefully others will start to catch on that all they are doing is trying to rip people off! I mean, come on! Even the thrift store will let you plug things up to make sure they work and they will let you exchange it if it doesn't....the people at triple j are nothing but crooks!!!

Eddie Stewart......(owner of Triple J Department Store) came to an Estate Sale I was conducted in Vestavia on January 26 & 27. ~ In good faith.....I took two checks from him for $1250 on 1st check......$3000 on the 2nd check. ~~~You guessed it!~~both checks were returned for insufficient funds. The number he has listed for his store does not work....all attempts to reach him have failed.~~I am driving to Calera to try and find him. ~~ I am like the others here.......it is sad that a man who claims to be a preacher....head of a church....a family man......is in my opinion......(as it seems, with others as well) a liar. ~~Would I do business with this man again? ~~ No.~~~~I am owner of King Estate Sales in Trussville....my number is 205-218-7640........if you know Eddie Stewart........feel free to have him call me........I would like to have a little "sit down" conversation with him. ~ Bill King

Be ready to be taking advantage of and lied too. January 27 we sold Triple J $3,700 worth of furniture, art, dishes, two folding bikes, garden equipment, car trailer. Mrs. Stewart gave us a company check. Which came back NSF, she told us to redeposit the check. We check with the bank and have check several times and there is still not enough money in the bank. We have called numerous times and Mrs. Srewart says she will have Mr. Stewart call. He never returns the call and has his phone only taking messages. Last week when I called she said she mailed a money order the day before. Now I now the mail is slow, but just another lie. It's a shame one has to hire a lawyer to get the money for the bad check. So I would tell my friends this is someone you do not want to do business with.

This business doesn't even deserve one star. The owner WILL NOT give titles to the scooters that he sells which means you can not legally drive them on the road. If owner promises anything, make sure you get it writing. Just because he claims to be a pastor of a church, he IS NOT a man of his word. Be careful and cautious when shopping with this place.
