School for Amazing Kids, Calera, LLC.

I absolutely love this school for my boys. I love the fact that I know they are safe and in good hands here. The teachers and staff are amazing and my kids have learned so much from this school! They have helped get my almost 4yr old ready for kindergarten!

School for amazing kids, Calera is the cream of the crop! I absolutely love the fact that I can take my child to school and not worry about his well being during the day! I know that he’s having fun, because he tells me thank you for letting him go to school to play with his friends. There is nothing like not having to worry about your baby when you are working! I love how friendly the staff is and they are always willing to go the extra mile to help us in any way they can! You won’t regret putting your child in this center, I promise!

My baby started here Dec 2018, No one can get to the back unless you are able to sign the child out and they have cameras in the rooms so you can see you child room before even going to the back. The staff members are great! My son is in the infant class and seeing the things the teacher do with the children is wonderful. We get art work sent home with our babies feet/hands. The keep you updated with daily activities (pictures, feedings, Naps etc). The staff member notify parents of everything from sickness that’s may have entered the center or if they notice a change in your child. SFAK also have parents night out, they will keep the kids one night so parents can still have at least one date night a month! They provide snacks and coffee in the morning for parents and they are very understanding..

My son is is 6 months and he is sitting up, scooting, pulling up, rolling over (most of this he’s been doing since 4 months) thanks to his teachers who let him have tummy time. They follow your daily plan to ensure your child needs are met. I took my son pacifier away at 4 months and the staff helped enforce it as well!! I will be converting to cups within the next to months and they are ready to help with that transition.

I would recommend this center for anyone in Calera.

Safety. Security. Peace of Mind. Confidence. Comfort. These are just a few of the many, many words that I could use to describe what School for Amazing Kids provides me and my family with. Being able to leave your kids somewhere for 10 hours every day and not worrying yourself sick for what feels like 24 hours is amazing in itself. Being a full time dad while working a full time job is no easy feat. But School for Amazing Kids has made it easier than I ever imagined.

Being able to wake up, get ready for work and get your kids ready knowing that they’re breakfast and lunch is already taken care of means more than I could ever put in words. It may seem small against all the other many challenges of being a parent but it truly does ease my mind. I used to stress so much about the time constraints when it came to preparing everything for my girls before my work day even began. Now, I know that it’s all taken care of. This is just a plus considering everything else that this daycare does for my girls!

School for Amazing Kids is truly amazing!!! As cheesy as that sounds, it’s true! This daycare has made us feel like family since day one. They’re always a phone call away while our girls are there. In the beginning, I called a lot! Especially with my 13 month old. She had been at home, with the same babysitter, literally from day one. I was so worried about the transition. The first week was the toughest but the staff helped us power through! Now, it’s like our girls have been going here since they were born!

All you ever want for your children is everything. School for Amazing Kids helps you achieve that goal. They provide an opportunity for your child to learn in a fun and friendly environment! Our girls have truly blossomed since starting here February of this year. My three year old learns something new every day and she retains it. She loves coming home every day and telling me all about what books they’ve read, what they got to do during playtime and what she did during music class. The structure that School for Amazing Kids offers has helped her so much. She understands schedules now and how she has to wait her turn. I couldn’t ask for more!

Being Joshua's parents for almost 5 years , we feel blessed that we found School for Amazing kids in Calera AL. We are both working parents and are very appreciative of the time the teachers at sfak calera spend with our child. He has been at sfak since his ninth week!
The things that he already knows not even being five is proof that a lot of time gets invested in knowledge . From reading to writing, singing, coloring, making things, having festivals and santa visits. it is worth it every penny !!
We may honestly say that our child is more than ready for Kindergarten. Leaving sfak in calera will be a sad day..

School for Amazing Kids located in Calera is my favorite childhood development facility that we have been at. I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old who have been attending for almost 10 months now. The difference I see in them as far as intelligence and education is night and day from before. I am so glad that we moved them here.

I really like the staff. My kids LOVE their teachers Ms. Theresa, Ms. Angela, and really love Mr. Jonathan(but I think that's because he gives them gummy bears, lol). I always know that they have the best care and a safe place to learn in.

My daughter has been with School for Amazing Kids Calera location for almost 2 years now. We started when she was just 8 weeks old. As a first time mom, I was very nervous and hesitant about leaving my newborn with perfect strangers. My husband and I went for a visit prior to enrolling her in the school. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and positivity. The office staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable with the questions I had for them. We were allowed to visit the infant and toddler rooms. When walking into the infant room, it was very calm and just had a great "vibe" when we walked in. The teachers were sitting on the floor with the children and very actively playing with them. It was nice to see they were actually paying close attention to them and interacting with them on a more personal level. That made me feel very comfortable! After the visit, we immediately decided to enroll our daughter. We have been in several different classes as my daughter is now almost 2. We have had such great experiences with all the teachers. They have all been very kind hearted, attentive, and truly concerned about your child. They have made going back to work so very easy for me. I know that my daughter is in the best care and the best environment. We have only had 1 negative incident at the daycare since enrolling. I went directly to the administration regarding my problem and concern. Brittany (the director) made me feel at ease knowing she would look into the problem and give a resolution. Within a few hours of speaking with her, she personally called by cell phone and told me they had a resolution to my problem. I was so grateful for the help and true concern she had. She made it a priority to help fix my situation. Since that time, we have never had a single incident again. I would recommend School for Amazing Kids to anyone looking at great, affordable, clean, healthy environment for yours kids.

The School for Amazing Kids in Calera has been fantastic with our infant son. We were concerned about going back to work and leaving him at a daycare but they have made it a breeze for us. They always tell us about his day! They even send a report home each day detailing when he did what. It is a very clean and friendly facility. Parents must use fingerprint to sign in and out and there are cameras throughout the building. I feel very safe with my son enrolled here. It is a great place for the price and the convenience of the location. We are extremely please with our experience so far.

School for Amazing Kids in Calera is a wonderful daycare. They are very conveniently located, right off of 65, so picking up and dropping off is a breeze.

The price is a little higher than other schools, but it's worth it! The curriculum is wonderful and I feel like my daughter is already ahead of other kids her age. They always have plenty of staff on hand, so I feel like my daughter is well cared for.

We love school for Amazing Kids. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They always ask how you are doing and when my child is out they check to see if she is o.k. It's these little details that go a long way. My daughter is always happy to go see her friends and teachers. She is already getting so much academically also. Just a great place to be.

They really resonated there emphasis on community involvement and their belief in a strong faith when they had a Prayer Breakfast to pray for our community. That was a great thing for them to do to not only bring the parents and children on the school together, but to bring the community together as a whole. I love that my daughter goes to a child care facility that not only shows that they are proud and support the area in which they are located but that they also believe in God and the power of prayer.

I love that my daughter’s lead teacher was the one who headed this up and I love the commitment she had throughout. They even provided us with a great breakfast while we mingled with everyone there. It is important that children not only have a foundation for community support and Christian principles in their home, but just as well in their child care facility or school where they spend the majority of their time and I am so glad that my daughter attends a place just like that.

Compared to the several child care facilities in Calera that I have visited and the few I enrolled my daughter in Morningstar was where I finally received peace of mind. I love the policies they have in order to guarantee my daughter's development and safety. In the year my daughter has attended Morningstar I have witnessed the bonds the teachers achieve with the children. My daughter loves the staff and the staff are always sincere. If you are looking for an establishment that makes you feel like family this is definitely the place.

If you're looking for childcare and live or work in the Shelby County (Calera) area.... Very close to the intersection and hwy 31.The search is over! Stop by morning star and check out all the amazing things they have to offer like the knowledgeable, very sweet staff, and the clean facility! I can't tell you how many times I've come in and the teachers were cleaning the counters and sanitizing! A big plus in my book!! Morning star also offers free that's right free coffee to parents, and there's also a covered drop off for those rainy mornings! Not to mention The bright colorful class rooms that will keep your child engaged! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and readily accommodate any issues that you may have! My son has been at Morningstar since he was 9 months and is now 2 and we absolutely love it! He's potty trained, he's singing, knows all his shapes, days of the week, colors, animals and she sounds they make! My son gets a hot nutritious meal for breakfast and lunch and an afternoon snack! He's not starving when I pick him up. He's actually excited about going to school in the mornings!Plus there are extras for parents;)... Parents night out! Which is absolutely FREE! Where the same staff will watch your kid on a Friday night one night a month So you can enjoy a date night or maybe some me time! Just AWESOME!!!!

I would like to start out by saying how pleased I am with the level of quality care and education my children receive at Morningstar. An environment in which children succeed relies on individualizing the needs of each child. Likewise, a balanced and complimentarey team, utilizing the skill set of their staff, provides a loving and successful educational experience for children.

My sons have attended the center for over a year now. They both love coming to school and I feel confident in their care and pleased with the level and content of their academic curriculum. I would recommend this school to anyone who would like to offer their child a warm, loving, dynamic environment- outside of the "big Box". The level of personalized service is excellent!

I love Morningstar! I have been searching for a school that is safe and provides a great curriculum. The location is a plus, being very convenient for pickups and drop-offs. Within a week, my son (3 years old) was able to recognize words and letters and my daughter (1 year old) knows where her eyes, mouth, nose, and ears are. Every staff member is genuinely concerned with the children there and it shows! I would recommend Morningstar to anyone!

Morningstar is a great place for your child! My child started at 3 months old and I believe that Morningstar has helped shape him for the better. They helped start new stages for him that I may not have started when it was needed such as solid foods. He amazes me everyday at the new sign language he learned or listening to directions when cleaning up. Hoping for the next stage of potty training to go smoothly also with the help of Morningstar!! Would recommend to anyone.

My child started Morningstar Child care about a month ago and his first week was awesome. The second week wasn't so pleasant because I didn't know what was wrong he cried every single morning that entire second week. Third week I saw a change for the better he starting speaking to the teachers every morning and waving at me ready for me to go.

The teachers there are awesome they assured me that it was a phase and that he would start to adjust soon. The never hesitated to answer me when I called throughout the day to check on my son and make sure that I get a detailed report daily on him. I would recommend this school to any parent they are wonderful.

My daughter has been at Morningstar for almost a year and a half. She knows her ABC's, can count to 15, knows her days of the week and her months of the year. Can tell you most colors and shapes, and she just over 2. I couldn't be happier with a group of people to care for her while I'm at work. Everyone is so loving and caring for all the kids who attend. They have all become like family to us and we have grown to care for them as much as they care for our daughter. Love it, couldn't ask for a better group of people to deal with daily in her care.



The facility is great, clean ad you feel that your child is safe. From the cameras in the rooms to the fingerprint checking out system you know there is a staff member who knows where your child is at all times. Safety, security and education, the three main things I needed from a daycare and I get it every day from Morningstar.

"Parents Night Out"



Need I say more. Morningstar Childcare in Calera, AL offers a parent's night out once a month, every month. It is on a Friday night from 6:30 to 10:30. I could not believe this when the Directors told me the good news. Better yet, the date night does not cost anything extra for you. The parents take the Kids home to feed them and put them in their pajamas. On your way out, the Parents drop the kids off at the center to watch movies and have a great time with their friends in a safe enviornment. The staff at Morningstar cares so much for your child. For them to do this "after hours" is amazing.



Where else can you go that you get someone to watch your child for you once a month to have a date night? This is one of the many reasons my wife and I love Morningstar. They care for the kids and reward the parents as well. If you are looking for a Childcare center in the Calera area, Morningstar is the place for you!!!!!
