Established in 1998, Lyons Center School serves more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade four. Located in Burlington, Wis., the school occupies more than 7 acres of space. It offers classes in science, history, math, and media and technology. It offers various academic activities to enhance physical, mental, emotional and learning abilities. Lyons Center School offers classes in mechanics of writing that focus on the specialization of reports, stories, poems and summaries. In addition, the school s library houses a variety of storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, and fiction and nonfiction books. It employs music teachers, curriculum coordinators, educational technicians and nurses. Lyons Center School is a part of the Burlington Area School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
