Just got off the phone after attempting to follow up on an issue with one of our cars. Water pump out according to them when arrived. Changed that and timing, but the prevailing issue of overheating, losing coolant is still there. Also broke the expensive to replace engine cover on most cars. Tried to get contact info for owner and was refused. Was able to speak to Rags, uncertain if that is first or last name, and Steve, the manager. Charged almost 3 times for a part and argumentative when I called to discuss. Obvious, visual issues with the car that even the simpleton, weekend mechanic can find. Why no pressure test? Why not change a thermostat while doing the other repairs. $15 part, I get it, would be around $45 plus labor. There was an older guy near Elon campus who was great to work with, but I think he retired. My advice, find another shop. Do not use Adams.

Was highly recomended, I arrived and waited in the showroom after ringing the bell for 10-15 minutes then left to go to another service shop not run by Adams. This took place after 0900 in the morning when most businesses are operational.

We had our vehicle towed there on the recommendation of the AAA approved tow driver. They got the car at 1 and diagnosed the problem immediately (a new alternator) and had the car fixed by 5 that same afternoon! Everyone was informative and efficient and the total cost was completely in line with the estimates. This is a new business and they go out of the way to make sure customers are happy. Go now before you can't get in. I guarantee word of mouth will spread quickly! L Thompson
