        TEDDY BEAR PRESCHOOL serves children from two through six years of age. We provide care for preschool age children and before and after school children from McKinley Elementary School. Teddy Bear Preschool is operated on a non discriminatory basis and every child will have equal treatment and access to services provided without regard to race, color, creed, or religion. Teachers are qualified in Early Childhood Education. Our staff is soundly versed on the growth and development of young children and sets an appropriate environment that stimulates each child's mind. Academics in each class is age appropriate. At Teddy Bear we feel that all children Learn Through Directed Activity and Play. Our school opens at 7 A.M. and closes at 6 P.M. We provide two snacks and your child's lunch is brought from home. Our school is open year round except for holidays. Teddy Bear Preschool provides an informative monthly newsletter to let you know of up coming activities at our school and we also do weekly evaluations to take home to let you know how your child is doing in school.

        Lovely school

        I toured five other preschools before settling on Teddy Bear Preschool. The owner, Nan, has created a lovely school that prepares the children for the structure of the classroom without overwhelming them with it - they have circle time, art projects, holiday events, and so many other creative activities, but also, the children are given loads of free time both indoors and outdoors, which was very important to us. My daughter is a free spirit who loves to play and explore, and she loves spending time in their play area under a beautiful tree. I was looking for a small school where my daughter would be given close attention, but where she could also learn to socialize with other kids. For us, Teddy Bear Preschool has been the perfect place.

        3 Years Experience with Teddy

        My granddaughter has been at Teddy for 3 years now and she has been very well taken care by all the staff members. If they ever have a questions they do not hesitate to call me to clarify which I really appreciate and maybe most importantly she really enjoys going there!!

        Hands Down Best Pre-School in Burbank

        We had our 2 children in several pre-schools before settling in at Teddy Bear Pre-School. By far, TBPS has the nicest staff and best facilities of any other pre-school we had our kids in, let alone any of the dozen others that we visited and considered. Miss Nan is the kindest, most organized and most caring pre-school teacher I've ever seen, and her staff is likewise top notch. I only wish they had their own elementary, middle and high school.
