Skin & Beauty Center (SBC)

I travel 120 miles one way to get to this office. I take this trek as I consider Dr. Saadat professional and skillful (besides being a nice guy).

From my experience on Wednesday, though, the rest of the office isn’t worth it.

After a minor surgery, Dr. Saadat referred me to therr professional assistant for a 2-week follow up. I was scheduled for a 1 pm appointment on Wednesday, 10/18. Due to the length of my 120-mile drive, I pack other appointments in the area around the one at SBC, and needed to get to them all on time. Since 1 pm is Skin and Beauty Center's first appointment after lunch, not much can go wrong, right? Wrong!

I arrived early at 12 and was told my P.A., Kristen, was at lunch and she'd be back at one. Fair enough. At 1:15, as I wondered what the delay was, I was taken into an exam room and told the P.A. was with "another patient" and she'd be with me when she was finished there.

Since there was no other patient scheduled after lunch, I asked how this was possible. My appointment was theoretically Kristen’s only one. I received a brush off answer -- in fact the attitude seemed to be that since I was a patient, my schedule didn't matter, only those of the SBC practitioners. Ten minutes later, still neither getting seen, or an explanation of why the delay, I said good-bye at the front desk and left. This was at 1:25, almost a half hour after I should’ve been seen.

No explanation of an emergency. Just a feeling of “You don’t deserve an explanation.” What arrogance! The attitude at SBC seems to be, "You will wait until we're damn well ready for you"? Is that the right way to treat a patient?

As there are medical professionals who think their patients should be considered as much as their own vanities, I suggest you look elsewhere for consistent service.
