Overall

They have been our vet since 2007 and treated two of dogs no longer with us and currently are treating our two dogs that we currently have. They are very good with both of our dogs Afi a black lab and Chloe a black mouthed cur. I wouldn't take my dog's any place else.

From routine preventive care for your pets to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases and surgical care, we have the expertise to provide the care your pet needs at every stage of life.
Spaying and Neutering
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations and negative Heartworm tests are required at the time of surgery. A pre-anaesthetic blood screen is included when a pet is spayed or neutered at St Francis Animal Hospital.

Laboratory Services
We offer three levels of in-house blood testing before surgery, which we will go over with you when you bring your pet in. Our doctors prefer the more comprehensive screen, because it gives them the most information to ensure the safety of your pet. For geriatric or ill pets, additional blood tests, electrocardiograms, or x-rays may be required before surgery as well.
