        Health Research, also known as HRI, is a part of the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. It is a nonprofit corporation that operates a finance administration and research management office. The cooperation manages administrative processes, such as payroll and budgeting, as well as research compliance and proposal processing support of a range of research-related institutional transactions. Health Research is affiliated with the New York State Department of Health. It assists the Roswell Park Cancer Institute to evaluate, solicit and administer external financial support for several projects. Established in 1953, the cooperation also administers funds from individual donors, estate bequests and court settlements.
