        Great repair shop. Best service I ever received. The price was fair and they even installed my son's car seat free of charge.



        Good people. A real asset to the community...

        bad customer service & twice charged plus the tow

        I live in NC. My daughter lives in Clarence NY.

        The reason I am writing this is because she is beyond recourse due to her being so upset. Plus,, working full time and busy with 3 chidren and also with the holiday's just around the corner.... So I took it upon myself.



        She called me about how terrible their customer service is and was charged for a tow and repair 2 days after for the same problem. 1st repair of power steering $487.00, on Monday.- Wednesday steering went again!! Gary Swartz said they don't quarantee !! Then, they did not tow until Thursday afternoon for a second repair. He THEN Charged 182.96 for repair AND THE TOW !! To boot she had to rent a vehicle. This all happened 2 wks before x-mas 2009. Her family lives on a limited income and work hard for every penny. Gaulin's Doesn't.

        I appreciate your concern for your daughter. Actually, I have three daughters myself and I would never want to see any of them get taken advantage of. I should mention that we provided her with a list of parts that had deteriorated to the point of being very vulnerable. The list was quite extensive. She declined all repairs and insisted that we fix only what was "broken". Subsequent to picking the car up, the other hose began to leak and needed to be repaired. Further, upon closer examination (after the return hose was removed), we realized that someone had installed the wrong type of hose. There was no reason to detect or suspect that this was the case and could not be known until the hose was removed.
