Carter has produced more than 1.5 million go-karts since its inception. The company has more than 1,200 retail locations in the United States, including one in Brundidge, Ala. It also sells its products internationally through distributors in more than 20 countries. Carter Brothers Manufacturing Company distributes a complete line of all-terrain vehicles and scooters. The company also manufactures agricultural equipment, lawnmowers and personal gardening equipment. Carter Brothers has grown from a small manufacturing firm to a more than 235,000-square-foot facility which houses management, sales, engineering, research and development, quality control, manufacturing, assembly, and warehousing. It uses laser technology, robotic welding, powder coating finishes, and computer-assisted designs in its manufacturing process.
