Big Bear Lake Camplands

My wife & I traveled nearly 4 hrs to visit this campground with the idea we might like to buy a campsite. When we arrived we were told it was a private campground and due to the sales office being closed we could not enter. We were referred by the security officer at the gate to the business office to see if they would issue us a pass to at least just be able to drive thru the property. The lady there could have cared less. She barely looked up from her desk to tell us we could not enter. Would not return for any reason. Nothing on their web site to tell you about this situation or when the sales office is open or closed. Most unfriendly office staff person I have ever encountered. The gate guard was at least pleasent & did what he could. I wouldn't give any star rating but to get out of this entry stage had to give at least 1 & that is way too much.
