Founded in 1970, The Central Texas Mental Heath Mental Retardation Center offers various services to individuals who suffer from schizophrenia, major depression and bipolar disorder. The center provides various programs for early childhood intervention and mental health and retardation. It offers diagnosis of people with mental illness who exhibit serious emotional and behavioral disorders. The Central Texas Mental Heath Mental Retardation Center provides assessment, counseling, medication, coordination, skills and family training, and crisis services and stabilization.
