LifeSkills is a nonprofit organization that has been providing a variety of support services to individuals with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities and substance abuse problems since 1966. The organization's behavioral health division offers mental health services to individuals and families in outpatient and residential treatment settings. It serves the residents of Butler, Hart, Logan, Warren, Barren, Metcalfe and Monroe counties in south-central Kentucky. LifeSkills' residential facility, the Park Place Recovery Center, provides nonmedical detoxification and treatment services to victims of substance abuse. The organization also offers case management services for women to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle. LifeSkills additionally provides aftercare, social and recreational therapy, and psychiatric evaluation and management solutions.
