Amli Arista

At first glance, Alexan Arista seems great. After living here for about a year, I’ve experienced some of the worst management practices. I’ve had trouble with all sorts of things inside of my apartment like missing light fixtures, loose handles on cabinets, patio door not closing right, not to mention my shower breaking at least three times. The management NEVER has answers or even the knowhow to find an answer. I’ve actually had someone in the office read me regulations from a sheet of paper and was told to only listen to the parts that pertain to me, because she could decipher what information was relevant to me. Getting a call back when they said they would is a joke. A number of times I’ve received bills on my door to pay for a storage space when I didn’t even have one. I’ve gotten letters to appear in court for the same storage space that was not in my possession. It took two days and a number of calls and talking to different people to get it straightened out. Renewal of lease is the most messed up thing about the place. There are absolutely no incentives for anyone to renew a lease here. The only thing I was told about renewing my lease was that I would have to pay more to stay. Apparently that is there policy for current residents. Never in my life have I felt unappreciated for giving my business to a company. The only reason given me for not being able to offer any reason for me to renew my lease was that they could make more money renting to a new resident. The fact that I’ve paid over $15,000 in rent over a year meant nothing to these people. And I’m not asking for anything crazy for an incentive to stay, just something that shows they appreciate my business. I’ve tried calling everyone from the Regional manager down to the idiots in the front office, and it was all the same, they would rather have MORE money in their pockets then keep a valued resident. On top of all that, I get emails about once a month talking about me referring someone to Alexan, which I find very comical! I would never recommend this place to anyone, ever, and find it insulting that they would think that the residences there would back such a poorly managed property. -CB
