St. Mark's Head Start and Universal Pre-Kindergarten serves the education, health and social developmental needs of children and their families in New York. It is comprised of more than 25 administrative and support staff members and teachers. The school organizes parent education workshops that offer information related to Head Start components, adult education and career development. St. Mark's Head Start and Universal Pre-Kindergarten also offers education related to a variety of health-related issues. It coordinates various issues related to child and family health, children with special needs, nutrition, safety and maintenance.
