Breast Reduction
Breast reduction, otherwise known as Reduction Mammoplasty, is a reconstructive procedure performed to reduce the size of the breasts. Breast reduction reshapes your breasts and makes them smaller, lighter and firmer. It removes excess breast glandular tissue, fat and skin to give you improved body proportions and to alleviate the discomfort associated with excessively large breasts. Women requesting breast reduction do so to eliminate physical pain as well as emotional and social anxiety associated with overly large breasts. Breast Lift

This procedure generally lasts from one and a half to three hours with the patient under a general anesthesia and asleep. You will go home the day of the operation.
Rhinoplasty
This procedure is custom tailored for each individual patient’s needs. Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Rayham, will address your specific concerns and will provide you with detailed information to help choose specific approach to your rhinoplasty procedure. You may require reduction of the hump or augmentation of the profile of your nose, straitening of the bone or cartilage, or refining of the tip. There are times when your nasal irregularity has been caused by a prior accident or trauma or might be accompanied by breathing difficulties. In such instances your insurance policy may cover full or a part of the cost associated with your procedure.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction with fat grafting: If you have breast defects following lumpectomy for breast cancer, fat grafting is an effective method for filling in these defects. Fat grafting is also an option for total breast reconstruction following mastectomy; however, to achieve sufficient breast volume, this is usually a multistage process that requires at least two to four sequential fat grafting procedures.

Thigh Lift
Your procedure will usually last from one to three hours for thigh lifting alone. Upon completion of your operation bandages will be placed at the incision areas to provide support and minimize the movement and the resultant discomfort. You may experience some pain associated with the surgery which is usually controlled well with pain medications. Upon discharge you will have prescriptions for pain medication that you will take as needed, and antibiotics that you will need to take for several days to decrease chances of infection. There are usually no sutures that need to be removed. You will go home with two tube drains, one in each thigh, which will be removed within one to two weeks. Immediately after the surgery you should restrain from making wide movements with your legs. You should be able to resume your regular activities in about two weeks, although you should abstain from strenuous exercise for several months. Upon completion of healing process maintaining proper diet and exercise routine should assure a long lasting result. The biggest drawback of this operation is possibility of forming visible scars on the inner side of your thighs. Strict adherence to the instructions given to you post-operatively by Dr. Rayham should minimize the visibility of the scars and give you the best possible results. If you are a candidate for a horizontal incision Thigh Lift procedure, your scar will be well hidden in the groin.
Face Lift
A Facelift, otherwise known as Rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure designed to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. The signs of aging include sagging in the mid-face, deep creases below the lower eyelids or between the nose and mouth, descended or displaced fat of the cheeks, loss of muscle tone in the lower face, jowls, loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw. A facelift is designed to correct all of these aging features, restoring a more youthful, fresh and rested appearance with uplifted contours and improved tone in facial skin and underlying muscle. Throughout a person’s life, the sun’s radiation, stress, gravity, and other factors cause the skin to sag and fit more loosely. Areas of the face and neck, in particular around the jaw line, are especially prone to the aging process. Though these changes are gradual, wrinkles and other signs of aging can make individuals “feel older” than they really are.

The upper blepharoplasty procedure performed in conjunction with a brow lift significantly enhances upper facial aesthetic appearance by simultaneously raising the eyebrows and removing the excess eyelid skin. This gives a very strong improvement to tired saggy eyes and brows and gives you a youthful and alert look. Upper blepharoplasty also reduces the appearance of wrinkles and “crow’s feet” around your eyes.
Abdominoplasty
Dr. Rayham performs Abdominoplasty/Tummy Tuck procedures in the hospital or ambulatory surgery settings in Manhattan/NYC, Brooklyn or Staten Island, New York. This procedure generally lasts from one and a half to four hours with the patient under a general anesthesia and asleep. You may need to stay in the hospital overnight for your safety reasons or can go home the same day depending on the extent of your operation.
Nose Surgery
Rhinoplasty, otherwise known as a Nose Surgery or a Nose Job, is a procedure performed to produce changes in the appearance, structure, and function of the nose. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of the nose, change the shape of the tip, or narrow the width of the bony portion of the nose and the nostrils. This operation can improve deformities associated with prior nasal injuries and help relieve some breathing problems.
Body Lift
Dr. Rayham performs Circumferential Body Lift / Belt Lipectomy procedures in the hospital settings in Manhattan/NYC, Brooklyn or Staten Island, New York. This procedure generally lasts from four to seven hours with the patient under a general anesthesia and asleep. You will need to stay in the hospital for one or more nights post-operatively for your safety reasons.
Otoplasty
If you live in New York or nearby, you can go home the day of your otoplasty procedure. Our out of town patients normally stay overnight in one of our recommended hotels and can be driven home or fly home the next day following their postoperative check-up by Dr. Rayham.
Body Contouring
Abdominoplasty, otherwise known as a Tummy Tuck, is a body contouring operation designed to remove excess abdominal wall tissue and fat and to tighten the muscle and fascia deep to the abdominal wall. This procedure results in a flatter, thinner and tighter stomach and waistline. It is indicated for people who have excess abdominal skin and fat as well as for people with separation of the muscles of the abdominal wall. The separation of the abdominal muscles, otherwise known as abdominal wall diastasis, is a common condition that happens to women after pregnancy or is caused simply by the weakening of the abdominal wall fascia. Tightening the muscles back to preexisting shape provides a dramatic improvement to the appearance of the abdomen. Often this procedure is combined with liposuction of the “love handles” to provide an improved contour of the stomach and an hour-glass appearance of the waistline.
Laser Resurfacing
Gold standard of laser resurfacing has long been considered the traditional ablative CO2 treatment. This skin resurfacing modality provides great results with significant downtime of about 3 weeks after the procedure. Main advantage of newer fractional laser resurfacing modalities include shorter post-procedure down time and speedier recovery without significant difference in results. Dr Rayham will be happy to discuss with you various indications for laser resurfacing and address your expectation. Some lasers may be inappropriate for darker skin complexions.
Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia, otherwise known as Male Breast Hypertrophy is a condition that is generally caused by a combination of two factors: dense breast tissue behind the nipple and excessive fatty tissue deposits over the wide chest muscle.

The implants themselves are made of either a soft malleable silicone type of material or hard durable material (Medpore). The silicone used in facial implants is FDA approved and is not known to leak or cause any side effects. Either type of facial implant material should last for years.
Bariatric Surgery
Brachioplasty, also known as Arm Lift, is a surgical procedure designed to remove extra upper arm skin and fat to give you tightened, toned and better proportioned upper arms. People mainly benefiting from this operation include those with massive weight loss, either due to bariatric surgery or diet and exercise, and patients with lax and loose skin of the upper arms in general. Loose skin is generally caused by the limited ability of some patients’ skin to rebound back following weight loss or aging. Brachioplasty is often combined with removal of excess skin of the side wall of your chest in a modified “L-brachioplasty” technique.
