Founded in 1974, BRAVO Volunteer Ambulance Service is one of the largest, community-based volunteer ambulance service organizations in New York. It provides a range of pre-hospital care and transportation services for sick and injured individuals. The organization has a group of more than 180 volunteers and operates a learning center. BRAVO Volunteer Ambulance Service serves individuals in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and Fort Hamilton in New York. It also offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The organization has a fleet of ambulances, as well as maintains a van. BRAVO Volunteer Ambulance Service also provides several membership opportunities.
