Buddy's Auto Mall

This is by far the WORST JUNKYARD in the 417 Metro area. The staff was very rude to me and I have been a regular for months. I went to go get a transmission for my car and when I swapped it in the transmission was not even function able. I understand thats part of the downside of buying a used transmission but when I went back to get it exchanged because they had a 30 day policy they told me that they couldnt help me and that it was my fault for checking the transmission. If you know anything about cars you cant exactly check a transmission without installing it first. I will NEVER be back!

I got screwed too I had a engine dropped in my van with the promise of new hoses and belts..yeah right came out looking like it had taken a oil bath and a o2 sensor problem it cost me about 2k for a used motor and no real guarantee.

We bought some used tires and they over charged us and then said they couldn't balance them and put them on the rim like it SAYS THEY WILL DO!!! They are very rude people and will not get our business again!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly I have been to most every salvage yard here in Springfield,mo including pick n pull and I have to say Buddy's is by far the best in and around the area with reasonable prices, clean and organized yard, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful to all customers.

Clean, reasonable, friendly and honest. Not much more can be said.

I have bought several engines and tranmissions from buddy's and they all have been great. I am restoring a pickup from my son and they have had alot of parts I have needed. The selection is great and there there when you need them. KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB

I went to Buddys to find parts for my daughters Grand Am. I couldn't believe it was the same place.

Every car in the Upull yard is on stands, organized and in a computer system. The guys behind the counter were friendly and helped me with what years /parts would fit for her car. In about an hour i had my parts for under 30 bucks. Thanks!

An engine from this place lasted a little over two months. I can only say that I will never buy anything from this place, nor recommend this place to anyone I know.



When I called about the engine and explained what happened (rod broke loose), they hung up on me. Of course the 30-day warranty was up, but I was hoping for just a little customer relations. Oh well, wish I could rate less than the minimum 1 star.

Do not do business with this place. Total Jerk and a huge Crook!!!! I had a car for sale that booked out for 1495.00 and he offers me 490.00 and trys to tell me that I needed to look it up on the internet to see the value of my car. I then told him that I got my information on kbb.com and the jerk tells me that kbb doesnt count when it is JUNK. Hello??? How would he know what my car is without even looking at it. I have had over 30 emails/text meassages from the owner of this business, mean nasty emails/texts. This place isnt professional at all. Then tells me that he will sue me if I leave him a review on here...LOL...Told me that this is slander. If you google his name you can read all the bad horrible reviews about his place... Shows his true colors. What a ripoff!!!! If you have had a bad experince with this place please leave reviews so that others will know what type of person he is!!!

Have had a lot of dealings with Buddy's. They are big enough to have what you need. I will say from personal dealings with them that they care about being honest. The whole place is well run and organized. Alvin is the most knowledgeable and honest car salesman I've ever met. Get to know these guys and come in with a good and teachable attitude and they will help you. That's how my daughter and I started doing business with them and we really appreciate the way we get treated and enjoy doing business with them. How many places can you really say you can trust completely their advice and warranty? It's the"Golden Rule" way of doing business like the good old days! You can thank Buddy's for setting a very high standard in a crazy industry. Dan

i have gone to buddys auto for a while now and now i wont be coming back their prices are outrageous for used stuff and they are extremly RUDE!!!!! they will rip you off in anyway they can and if you figure it out they get pissed and tell you to find someone better.... STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I have used Buddys Auto Mall for years for all my part I may have needed and out of the 20+ things ive needed they didnt have it twice, but guess what: THEY SUGGESTED WHO TO GO TO, and they had what I needed!! So technicly they have always had what i needed!!



I recently had my window knocked out in my car and buddys ordered one for me. They rejected the first one! The second one was perfect and im glad!!
