Horrible, Horrible!!

After confirming the appointment twice and ensuring he knew what the problem was - arrived at the dentist office (due to traffic I was 15 minutes late, however I called to let them know). As I arrive after leaving work early and driving an hour, he informs me that he cant fix my tooth because it does not have enough time plus it is late in day. WHAT??? Why would you schedule an appointment at 4pm if you don't have time to fix my tooth? Now, I wasted a week of getting my tooth fixed, plus an hour drive, plus having to leave work early.

I've been going to Dr. Swerdlick for years and he's the best! He truly makes me feel at ease and is very professional. His office is conveinent to get to and he always makes sure the job is done right.



I hope he never retires because in a sea of dentists in the Boston area he is someone who gets the business and people side of this job.

Dr. Swerdlick converted me from a terrified dentophobic to a full-fledged dento-evangelist.



A few years ago, down-and-out and new to the city, I had no health insurance and a very dangerous tooth issue developing in my jaw. Dr. Swerdlick was willing to see me, despite my marked lack of insurance and status as a lowly, completely broke grad student. He took x-rays and directed me to seek out care at a nearby free dental clinic, and was gentle and straightforward all the while.



A couple of years later, when I was finally employed and insured, he was the one and only dentist I wanted to see, and I have been going ever since. He's a riot. Quirky and fun, very gentle and kind.



Seriously, I've been terrified of dentists since early childhood, but this man puts me completely at ease. I always look forward to my check-ups; between him and the receptionist, I have *gasp* fun whenever I go.

I just went in for a cleaning and routine check up, if that's what you're looking for Dr. Swerdlick is great! He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease. What I liked most about him was that he didn't push unnecessary dental procedures on me like some dentists have. He was honest about what I needed to get done and was great at making sure I understood everything clearly. I've never had any dentist talk to me about the clicking in my jaw, which he noticed immediately. He just gave me some background info on the TMJ and offered some advice on what to do if it started bothering me.

I had a great experience with Dr Swerdlick. He greeted me at the desk and engaged my husband and I in conversation while I filled out paperwork. He was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. If you like an old school approach and don't care about state of the art office, this is your place. I am not impressed by flat screen tv's, brand new chairs, etc, what does impress me is a dentist who pays attention to my concerns and exhibits compassion and professionalism. I would recommend Dr. Swerdlick!
