Overall

This was the worst experience my family has ever had at a restaurant. The Hostess, Liz has no personality whatsoever. When we arrived she didn't greet us she simply said, "It's a 30-35 minute wait." We waited. During this time we continued to witness her be rude to incoming customers. Never was a single one greeted or acknowledged except to be told how long the wait was. On several occasions, when customers made the decision to not put their name on the list, and go elsewhere, Liz would look up from her podium and roll her eyes. I won't mention her horrible phone etiquette; but you can imagine. Let's talk about the restroom. Toilet paper all over the floor, napkins strewn about the floor and counter because both HUGE waste baskets were overflowing, no toilet paper and most of the lights burnt out, we peed in a cave. Heading to our table, we got to walk past 3 employees standing against the wall complaining about having to work the next day, it was nice that we as customers had to walk sideways and shuffle through them to follow lovely Liz to our table. Food, take it or leave it. Unlimited salad...frozen iceberg lettuce, mmmm tasty! No thank you-I would not like anymore. Chicken Alfredo, did they put the Alfredo sauce on it? That's up for debate, it was so dry and flavorless, I may have poured a whole shaker of salt and pepper on it to try to get some flavor. Chicken and shrimp carbonara- they forgot the bacon. Actually, the presentation was so horrible, hubby wasn't interested in eating it; maybe it was someone else's leftover and they scraped it onto a new plate. This place was such a joke. We paid $80.00 for horrible service and disgusting food. We will never return to Olive Garden in Brookfield, WI, actually we will never step foot into another Olive Garden.

Overall
great service

Our waiter was maybe African. He was very noligible of the menu in recommending entrees. He paid attention to every single table he had and just gave everyone great service. The food was great. We took friends from out of town there whom had never been to an Olive Garden and they couldn't say enough about the casual atmosphere with great prices, food and especially the service. I would choose this specific resturant any day.

Enjoy the experience

The meals at Olive Garden are very good. Fresh bread sticks, garden salad with plenty for all. The pasta and shrimp dish was fantastic
