Clothes Mentor

This place is a pass. Took in name brands...some never worn and most slightly worn. A good number of items were better than many items there. Brand new Alegria shoes were passed over...bought this year and they claimed they were an old style. Some of the shoes that they were selling actually smelled bad. Very off putting. Will never go there again.

I would avoid this place at all costs. I am never going here again.



This location is completely disappointing. Their clothing selection is extremely underwhelming. I have also tried to sell here twice, and both times I left angry. The first time I brought in a variety of nice, gently used brands. I would say the items I purchased originally between $30-70 each. They passed on most of it. I was confused but just assumed it wasn't what they were looking for at the time. Recently I brought in two huge bags of clothes to sell. They completely rejected all of it saying they don't accept "teen brands." This doesn't make any sense because many of the brands I brought in (including free people, american apparel, j jill, new york & co) are all listed on their website as brands they accept. I don't think they even looked through the items I brought.



The atmosphere of the store is bland. The few times I have shopped there the owner has never been helpful but comes off as extremely judgmental.



I have met one nice employee here.

The store advertises that it accepts gently used previously owned clothing however I went in with all name brand clothing gently used and they " passed " on all of it, 15 pair of jeans a dress and a wool blazer because they were older than two years. They say they passed on a Calvin Klein dress because they had so many dresses. Huh?? I think they are full of it. The process is time-consuming, it took them 45 minutes, allegedly, to assess the clothing that I brought in. I left for 45 minutes and came back to find out that they did not want anything, this included Isaac Mizrahi, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren and other great items. I'm going to donate these awesome items to Goodwill where they will be put to good use, will never recommend Clothes Mentor to anyone!
