Bristol Life Saving Crew provides emergency medical services, teaches and practices safety and performs emergency rescue. It also provides standby services at public activities, a rescue unit for civil defense organizations, organizes search parties, responds to fire calls, provides transportation of the sick and injured to emergency room and intensive care and participates in other services to the community. Members of the Bristol Life Saving Crew are available by request for community events including festivals, picnics, parades, sporting events and concerts. The organization is headquartered in Bristol, Va.
