I have purchased 3 or 4 guns from Volunteer and have always found them great to deal with. Friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable.

My experience started out not so good but turned out to be the place I go to as Warren is a positive business owner and will correct any issues he can.Finding a business as this not as common as in the past and is nice as the big department store types have no interaction with the community and tend to be less knowledgeable of the items being offered. I have since made multiple purchases and plan on continuing with them.Dealing with the public and the multitude of different personalities can be difficult especially with firearms sales so give em a chance I think you will be glad you did.

I bought a $1500.00 Colt 1911 from Voluteer. A friend of mine had it at his house, thinking about buying it. My friend suddenly died and the gun was still in his house. I couldn't find my receipt for the gun so I couldn't prove to my friends nephew that it was my gun! I emailed and called Volunteer to get a copy of receipt. They didn't have time to look it up!!! So I lost a $1500.00 gun!

Have been purchasing guns from this family since I was a young man. My father purchased my first gun from Terry. Great family, honest and good folks. Treat them with respect, as you should all, and you will be treated with the same.

These people lied to me. Not once but twice. The guy I talked to on the phone was rude and acted like he could care less. Shipped AR part via USPS, dumb choice, then put the wrong address on the package and tried to play stupid. Do not do business with these people, they are liars.

love it, shop all over the place but usually buy here, they treat you right.

Great store saved me alot of money on a smith&wesson shield 9mm, I got one for $389.00.

*****WARNING BAD BUISNESS PRACTICES***** Very poor customer service and un ethical business practices. There sale people do not take the time to answer questions and convey an attitude as if they could not care less if You buy anything from them. My Wife and I felt like we had to probe them when trying to narrow our selection down and even then they did not see know much about there products. However My biggest complaint was being sold a USED Pistol for my Wife for personal defense that was sold to us as brand new. I did not think to open the chamber at the store however when we got home My Wife's Pistol had obviously been fired A LOT there was thick carbon deposits all over the firing pin area and the barrel was very dirty. I went there the very next morning with my receite and the two unopened boxes of ammo I purchased there and the Young man was very rude and refused to help. He said He would show me in his books that the gun was not previously sold however once he pulled his records instead of showing me he suddenly begun to scream and become defensive. Do not buy from there they are not honest people furthermore they like to bash the other gun store that is right up the road from them. After my bad experience I went to the Gun Store that they had talked badly about (SAMS GUN & PAWN) turns out they are very friendly, knowledgeable and show a willingness to help and so I took a loss at Volunteer was sold a used gun for full retail new price and was badly mistreated. However I gained a new Gun Shop who is very professional. Do what You want but this is just my bad experience do Your self a favor and shop else where. Volunteer gets one star and that's only because I had to give them one in order to post this review
