Overall

I came in thinking my daughter had an ear infection or something else that could be treated with minimal antibiotics. I was told absolutely nothing about what was actually wrong with her. He made me try to give my 8 month old daughter water, which as any parent or human with common sense would know, she wouldn't drink being as she was sick and most kids hate water! As aresult ofher not drinking it, I was told she was severely dehydrated, warned that if I waited longer she would have to be brought back from "the jaws of death", which I am quoting from the physician and forced to take her to the ER. I was also told that because her heart rate was high, which is normal when a child has a fever (I guess it doesn't matter to this physician), that she would need to have something done to get it down, and only the ER could do that. Upon arrival at the ER, I was informed she was not dehydrated at all and that she had the beginning stages of pneumonia. I was also told that her heart rate was well within the normal ranges for a child with a fever. (Well, duh).

I should've saved time and money and taken her to the ER to begin with. Now I have two medical bills (probably over 500.00 at this point) instead of one.

I will never in my life be back to this gas station they call a medical office, not even if I myself need to be brought back from the jaws of death.

I don't care if he did have 38 years of ER experience, experience doesn't negate common sense. It also doesn't mean he can brush me off and tell me my child will get worse and not even tell me what's wrong with her.

I have never been so disappointed in a medical professional in my entire life.
