I wouldn't see anyone else

I've been seeing Mr. Saldutti for years. I've been offered other appointments for other doctors, but I refuse. He operated on my girl friend once, who had a HUGE cyst on her face. She didn't have any insurance to see a surgeon. The results were the same or better than had she seen a surgeon. She laughs when people ask her about her new face and which doctor operated on her. She always says, a doctor didn't do it. My PA did!

Me. Saldutti used to see my father, before he dies at age 88. There was a time he didn't have money for his antibiotk and Mr. Saldutti have him the money because he needed the medicine do bad. I tried to pay him back and he wouldn't take it. Now, that's my kind of doctor.

Great doctor

Steven has been seeing me and kids for years. He has never kept me waiting long - I hate waiting! He is great listener and my kids live him. There was a time in the past when I didn't have insurance and he saw me and didn't even charge me. I just cried because I didn't know how I could pay him. He always listens good and even if I have lots of problems he tried to help all of them.

Their have been times my kids are offered appointments by other doctors but they wunt see anyone else.

One of the big things I like is he tries to write for genetic drugs so they are cheaper for me.

We (family of 4) were patients of Dr. Rachel Brown at Brevard Family Practice for 5 years and were extremely pleased with the care we received. We were equally pleased with the supporting staff, including Dr. Browns nurse, the lab and front desk people. In Dr. Brown’s absences we were sent to Steve Saldutti. My daughter has serious health issues that need support from local doctor. She has a PICC line and it had a blister forming underneath and needed a little TLC, nothing too serious. She also had orders from her primary infectious disease doctor in California. He needed two tests done to see if her medication were causing ulcers in her stomach and/or bowels. This was the first time Steve had EVER seen my daughter and when he addressed her he never asked how she was or what he could do to help. Steve was incredible rude, and said the test the doctors in California wanted were unnecessary and refused to write the orders for the test they recommended. She tried to explain the symptoms in her stomach and he passed them off as heart burn. She said she has had heart burn in the past and this was clearly a different feeling altogether. He continued to talk about heartburn. We showed him the PICC line and he looked at it and said “I don’t have time for this today”. I was floored, because this was the specific reason we made the appointment. Why did they schedule an appointment when he didn’t have time? He wanted us to return 2 days later and pay an additional fee to have him care for this PICC line. In my shock I asked him to repeat what he said. He did and followed it with and I quote “I do not have the time to spend on patients like Dr. Brown did. She scheduled her patients differently and neither I nor the other doctors in this practice do that”. When we left my daughter called her REAL doctors in California and they immediately faxed written orders for Steve to pass on to the Surgeon for Transylvania Hospital. Doctor Brown agreed to be the support system for my daughter and work closely with the specialist in California and she did that job very well. We all had the confidence in her because the support she provided was genuine and she knew how important it was for the success of treatment. I issued a formal, written complaint with Transylvania Hospital about the lack of professionalism and lack of concern we experienced from Steve. After 10 weeks we received a letter saying they were sorry about the treatment we received from Steve. After that appointment and because Steve made it perfectly clear that the other doctors in that practice will not take the appropriate time to help manage these difficult diseases, we moved to the Pardee system and another doctor has agreed to help my daughter and work professionally and effectively with the specialist in California. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the AMA. I had heard some great reviews about this “PA”, but neither his actions nor his words were very impressive and in fact were extremely offensive. I gave one star because I was afraid the "0" star would not calculate in the rating. He is a ZERO.
