With over 30 years of experience, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from The University of Alaska, Anchorage and a Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University, Dr. Barkshire brings the best of both worlds to her medicine. Her nursing experience includes inpatient care, intensive care, gynecology, general practice, home health care, urgent care and emergency medicine. As a Naturopathic Doctor in general practice she has served patient’s with many conditions, specializing in women’s health, gastrointestinal problems, inflammation disorders, and endocrinology. Food sensitivity exploration and fundamental changes towards whole foods eating creates a shift allowing the body to heal.
