A Little Gentle Groomer

I just rescued a Persian cat whom was very matted. Andrea came to my house in her mobile van and was extremely gentle with my kitty. He van was clean and everything was in order before she started with my cat. Andrea took her
time not to scare my cat and I got to hold my kitty while she shaved him. She is very loving and gentle with my cat, so much that he gave me kisses while she was shaving him. You can tell she really loves animals. My kitty is now off to a good start and happier than ever. I would highly recommend her.

We phoned to make an appointment 1 week prior (which she stated was her earliest available). She gave us a half hour window in which she would arrive. There was absolutely no mention that she would call before coming when the appointment was made. I was home waiting for her arrival during the scheduled window. Andrea called approximately 5 minutes before the earliest scheduled arrival time, however I could not get to the phone. I returned her phone call within 4 minutes and she stated she gave my appointment away because I did not answer to confirm the appointment. She was rude, as if it was my fault, and not at all apologetic and replied that since I did not answer my phone. she gave my appointment away to some one else. Do not waste your time....or she will waste yours!

Andrea is by far the worse groomer I have had the misfortune of taking my dog to. She was rough with my little dog. I explained to her that my dog had severe arthritis in all her legs. When I came to pick her up I could hear her crying and yelping several yards from her van. When I opened the door, she had my dog's back right leg at a 45 degree angle to her body. My dog started limping immediately. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a acl tear in that leg. My dog usually sleeps during grooming, not crying and trying to get away from the groomer like she did with Andrea. I'm totally amazed that she bills herself as gentle as she's the total opposite. Please don't submit your dog or cat to her inhumane treatment.

Andrea is a special groomer who's title tells what a great person she is, kind, gentle,and caring. I have a special dog that is a Dachshund service dog and I trust Andera with her. She has kept her overnight and emptied her glands many times. Whenever she sees Andera she gets excited and runs to her. She has also cared for my cat who usually does not like other people. My husband and I am pleased with Andera both as a groomer and friend and highly recommend her to any pet owners. Jon and Sharon Healy
