zoo

This store is a zoo. Half the checkout lanes are closed and there are no express lanes.

The only reason I visit this W...

The only reason I visit this Walmart because it's right around the corner from my house but either than that I would rather drive to another one. The staff at this Walmart are unwelcoming and rude. The customers who shop here are also like the staff. Lines are long at all times and people will try to cut in front of you. Be careful cause these people will try to have a screaming match with you or try to fight you. People let there children run all around the store and the staff don't say anything to anyone. They just let people do whatever they want. At night they put all there boxes all over the place and don't have enough room for people who are handicap. Customer service is thee worst!!!

Are You Safe Shopping At Wal-Mart?

Of course I love the great deals, but the shopping experience at the Bowie Wal-Mart is uncomfortably unsafe. It's not the lack of service, or the product that has not been restocked for whatever reason for 4 weeks, it's my safety that concerns me at this Wal-Mart, because the Bowie Wal-Mart tolerates patrons abusing other patrons in the store. Tell the Wal-Mart manager and call the Wal-Mart Home Office @ 1-800-WAL-MART and let them know if they need to adopt AND ENFORCE policies that ensure customer safety and first-come-first-serve policies; if someone cuts-in front of you in line, which is typical for this Wal-Mart in Bowie, MD, ask an employee or cashier to page the front-end supervisor and inform them that you lost your place in line to someone that cut-in front of you so that Wal-Mart will honor and enforce their first-come-first-serve policy, suggest that Wal-Mart place a sign that controls the wrongfully "entitled" customer behavior, because it is out-of-control at this Wal-Mart. I have inquired with Wal-Mart as to how to handle the situation when this circumstance arises and they told me to request the front-end supervisor and inform them, but in the mean-time... you are subject to another customer that felt entitled to cut-in line in front of you, that will start telling you how awful and wrong you are (that they cut-in front of you) because you have a problem with what they just did and need the store to intervene; somehow, when you stand up for your rights against someone that is treading upon you, YOU are causing the conflict, not the person that is blatantly disobeying... 1) common courtesy and 2) Wal-Mart's first-come-first-serve policy. Don't let other customers feel entitled to add massive amounts of merchandise to their cart, or even another cart, after your place in line has already been established behind them, that is also violating Wal-Mart's first-come-first-serve policy and, yes, tell the front-end supervisor; it isn't Wal-Mart's intention for you to have to tolerate this rude behavior that is against their policy, but it has become common-place because they do not have pro-active measures in place, such signs asking that customers be "polite" to the other patrons in line -- I go to Target or visit this store only during low-peak shopping hours.
